I gaze exterior my window

sipping forenoon tea

squirrels running, playing

frolic together with hence carefree

I encounter the rays of sunshine

reminded of your smile

looking toward the heavens

thankful all the while

Smelling fresh bloomed roses

moist alongside forenoon dew

reminded of the beauty

that grows within of you

The birds are chirping softly

on this early on morn

pretending we're together

fills my take in alongside song

Thoughts of y'all this morning

have brightened upwards my day

know how much I dear you

although you're far away

So many miles betwixt us

in my take in I proceed y'all near

gazing out the window

wishing y'all were here
