When I go on business, I similar to beak to the taxi drivers who accept me from the drome to my hotel, or to a convention center, or to a restaurant. Taxi drivers are ofttimes immigrants amongst interesting personal histories too odd cultural backgrounds. I inquire them how long they've been inward America, how they chose which metropolis to alive in, too what they similar best most where they live. Of course, I likewise inquire them for advice on practiced local restaurants too whatsoever exceptional attractions they'd recommend to a visitor. I've had about bully experiences on my travels, thank you lot to the advice of taxi drivers!
On ane trip most 10 years ago, I was making conversation amongst the taxi driver, squall for him my green questions most how he came to alive where he lived. Then I asked him a hypothetical question: "If you lot could alive anywhere inward the world-and if coin was no object-where would you lot live?"

I felt humbled too a lilliputian foolish for my question. Of class he was right-happiness is an within job. He had reminded me of something I already knew, but had forgotten. If you lot can't notice happiness within yourself, you'll never notice it inward the exterior world, no affair where you lot move. Wherever you lot go, at that spot you lot are. You accept yourself amongst you.
I am grateful for the wisdom of that taxi driver. And I'm grateful for all the wisdom others get got shared amongst me most how to live on happy.
